After travelling with a touring theatre and working as AD on a feature film in Berlin this summer, Melanie is very happy to be returning to Hamburg full-time. She is currently relocating her living and work base to the Wilhelmsburg district. After six months on the road she is looking forward to developing a script and working on a new short film project here.

In spring 2011 Melanie travelled to Belgrade to attend the 58th Documentary and Short Film Festival. With the invitation to screen 'Fleeting Visit' her journey was funded by AG Kurzfilm and German Films. To sum up the experience, AG Kurzfilm have asked Melanie for a report (in German) which now has been published on their website.
