16 October 2010 - 'Fleeting Visit' figures in film market of the 25th Brest European Short Film Festival

Brest European Short Film Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary from 8 to 14 November 2010. The Market will be open from Wednesday morning, the 10th until Saturday the 13th included, from 10 am to 8 pm with private screenings on demand.

12 October 2010 - 'Fass und Segel' in postproduction

The new documentary 'Fass und Segel' ('Barrel and Sail') is currently in postproduction.
In summer 2010 the theatre troupe Das Letzte Kleinod put on the production of 'Die verlorenen Söhne' - a play with historic roots about two men from the island of Spiekeroog who set out to whale hunt in Greenland. Over the course of three months the theatre ensemble retraced this story starting in Spiekeroog, Germany, and ending up on the island of Uummannaq in Greenland.

8 October 2010 - 'Abseitsleben' accepted into Red Rock Film Festival 2010 film market

The Red Rock Film Festival of Zion Canyon is scheduled November 11-14, 2010 with a festival showcase on December 31, 2010, and a possible expansion of the festival dates in November.

1 June 2010 - Theatre in Greenland

This month the theatre group Das Letzte Kleinod and their current production 'The lost sons' by Jens-Erwin Siemssen is travelling to Greenland. Performances are scheduled in Nuuk and on the island of Uummannaq. Melanie will accompany the troupe on their journey with the camera. 'The lost sons' has so far been shown on the island of Spiekeroog and in Bremerhaven and is residing in Cuxhaven until June, 5th.
